The last dress I sewed
It's the 2nd one I do bymself, so be kind
To tell the truth, it's a very old dress sewed by my mother before a drama show when I was 16 or 17. It slept in my wardrobe for 10 years and since I've always been in love with that golden brocade, I decided to renew it a little: I opened the sleeves following the Roman Chiton model, I applied golden buttons on shoulder and a white trim all over the neckline by hand.
The dress was originally sewed according to my old weight (I was 20 kilos fatter at that time) so I had to make it a little bit skinny on my back, but I couldn't do miracles
The white underskirt is hand made too, it was a very old cotton underskirt from 1970's.
I decided to call this costume Isotta because it sounded to me very fantasy and romantic
Sorry for my expression but the sunlight was really hard for my eyes
